Wheelstands (Drag Racing)

Wheelstands, as the term is used in drag racing, is when the car lifts the front wheels off the ground at launch. Ronnie Sox, Dick Landy, and Arlen Vanke were among the many Super Stock and Pro Stock drivers who would excite the crowds with high wheelstands.
