The Desoto (sometimes De Soto or DeSoto) was an American automobile marque, manufactured and marketed by the now-defunct DeSoto Division of the Chrysler Corporation from 1928 to 1961.
Sister makes at the time included Plymouth, Dodge, Imperial, and Chrysler; with Jeep and Eagle joining the ranks after Desoto was discontinued.
