Beginnings of a Wiki, feel free to improve
As it applies to drag racing, "Courtesy Staging" means the the first car to pre-stage will wait for the other car to pre-stage prior to staging. To not courtesy stage would be for a driver to fully stage his car prior to the other driver pre-staging.
