A manual transmission, also known as a manual gearbox, stick shift, or standard transmission is a type of transmission used in motor vehicle applications. It uses a driver-operated clutch engaged and disengaged by a foot pedal automobile.
 
 
 
A 3-Speed would have three forward speeds, a 4-Speed would have four forward speeds, 5-Speed woud have five, and so on.
