For 1967, the Marlin moved up to the longer Ambassador platform, which many feel better compliment the fastback roofline -- making it look less turtle like that the 65s and 66s.

For the last year of the Marlin, the 1967 moved up from the smaller mid-size Classic/Rebel to AMC's longer full size [[Ambassador] chassis. The 1967 model is the rarest of all Marlins.
